Looking at your other works I think you could do much better than to rely on filters and defaut photoshop pattern overlays.

Look through the galleries, search the net, challenge yourself not to even use filters (work with layer masks and blending modes) and I bet your work will dramatically look more dynamic and less 'automated'.

Lens flares are cheesy IMO

and here they take away all the attention.
